Since releasing her debut CD, Beverly has been busy performing at clubs and festivals in Toronto and throughout Ontario, as well as select venues in the U.S., including Spaghettini in Orange County, California. In addition to leading her own group, she also sings with two 9 piece groups, The Mitch Beube Swing Band (featured at the Gravenhurst Opera House and other Muskoka hotspots in the summer months) and The York Jazz Ensemble (with whom she has developed a tribute to the music of Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn). Her "Bossa Nova Project", a 2 hour concert in English and Portugese celebrating the songs of Brazilian composer Antonio Carlos Jobim, premiered at the 2005 Distillery Jazz Festival and was also a mainstage act at the Peterborough Jazz Festival in September 2006 .

"How 'Ya Gonna Keep 'Em Down on the Farm?" was officially launched with a sold-out, standing-room-only performance at the Montreal Bistro in Spring 2004 and has been picked up by dozens of radio stations around the world, from Argentina to Australia to the Netherlands and across the U.S. and Canada. An unlikely radio pick, Beverly's 9 minute treatment of "Lazy Afternoon" was the Number 1 Jazz Request on Ison Live Radio in Australia for over 3 months and is still in regular rotation there. The disc is available online, by mail, at Beverly's performances, and at Sam's on Yonge Street (north of Dundas) and Backbeat Records at 2071 Yonge St. Visit CD Baby to order using a credit card. You can also get a copy directly through Beverly by sending an email (to hello AT beverlytaft DOT com) with your mailing address and then a cheque made out to Beverly Taft to 3-1714 Queen St. W., Toronto (Canada) M6R 1B3. Copies are $20 Cdn each (including postage) with a 10% discount on multiple orders. You'll get a reply email to let you know that it's being wrapped up for you and as soon as the cheque comes in, it'll be sent off with one of Beverly's handmade cards.

The CD was co-produced by Keith Mariash (the man with the ears!) and Beverly, and features the fellas (Roland Hunter, Rob McBride and Jesse Baird) in very fine form. Pianist Gord Webster appears for a duet and saxophonist Chris Gale is a special guest on 2 tracks. The eye-catching artwork was done by Drazen Kozjan and really captures the fun Beverly and the fellas had while recording on Puck's Farm in Schomberg.

Tune in to Canada's Premiere Jazz Station, Jazz FM 91.1 and to CBC Radio across the country to hear the CD on the radio, or visit The Audio Page!
